Technology in the Classroom
I really want to bring technology into a mathematics classroom setting. Many students seem to be unmotivated when it comes to learning math. Technology can create a more hands on learning approach which can aid in the students retaining the knowledge as well. I want to be able to bring new ways of presenting the material through technology to engage the students into the lesson and break down the stigma that math is boring. My most memorable lessons when I was in high school were interactive so I would like to create a very active classroom environment. I look forward to learning many different ways of approaching education to keep my classroom motivated and learning!
These pages are filled with some work that I have done to incorporate different technologies into my teaching practice. I hope to keep expanding my knowledge of this area of my practice and continue to introduce my students alternate ways to learn mathematics. Please visit one of the drop down pages to explore!
